My passion for foster care stems from my own childhood as I grew up in kinship care. Even though I was with family, I faced many challenges related to my birth parents. Through those challenges, I developed a huge passion to help others. I have always said I would be great working in the foster care system because I can relate in many ways. I went to school for social work and became a LSW (Licensed Social Worker) in November 2023. I am looking forward to working with families and helping them achieve their goals. I have 3 cats between the ages of 2-4 years old. I also play in a community band in the summer. I play clarinet, flute and some piano.
