Foster Parent Pre-Service Courses
Have you ever felt God may be calling you to become a foster parent? Encourage holds foster parent pre-service prep courses multiple times a year. Ongoing Monthly Foster Parent Trainings
Encourage offers FREE online and in person trainings for all foster parents. With the completion of these trainings, foster parents will receive credit toward the ongoing training hours for their foster care license. Encourage is now offering 2 Hour Tuesday online trainings through Zoom. Open to any licensed foster parent, participants will earn two hours of face-to-face training credits. No sign up is required. Foster Parent Prep Courses
Encourage offers foster parent prep courses (pre-service training) several times each year with a focus on Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI). Prep courses provides 24-hour trauma-focused training to become a licensed foster parent during two power weekends.
